Our parish, Sacred Heart Church and Regina Maria Church, has just completed the above 8 week course which consisted of reading and answering questions from the Study Set which we purchased along with the Video, meeting to discuss our homework and then watch the beautifully filmed video presented by the articulate Dr Edward Sri. The well designed course catered for our diverse group. One quarter spoke English as a second language, a small percentage was well versed in the Bible, having studied it for many years with the sisters and brothers teaching in Catholic Schools, some had very little knowledge of their faith and a few converted from other religions. Everyone learned more than they thought they would. And an unexpected benefit was that we all grew closer together as a community thirsting for more knowledge of our rich, mystical faith.
