Our Lord Jesus Christ condemned the prayers of the pagans for their sense of repetition.  How is the Rosary any different?  Are Catholics mimicking ancient pagan practices of supplication, or is it a form of prayer from Heaven itself?  What does Sacred Scripture and the tradition of the Church have to say about it? 

If it is as Catholics claim - that it comes from Our Lady herself - what are its effects?  How does it help us?  Are not the Sacraments enough?  Is it important to pray, or can we safely ignore it as another pious devotion from the infancy of Catholicism?
