THE CATHOLIC FAITH FOR TEENS
Chosen is going to change the way we pass along our precious gift of the Catholic Faith to the next generation. Designed to offer young people a life-changing experience as they journey through their Catholic faith in all its richness and vitality, the goal is nothing short of winning over the hearts of teens and making them lifelong disciples of Christ.
Chosen utilizes a powerful and effective methodology with lessons designed to capture teens’ attention and present the faith in new and unexpected ways. Featuring multiple dynamic presenters in visually stunning, fast-paced videos, along with fully integrated written materials for students and leaders as well as a rich offering of free, online resources, Chosen is unlike anything available in the Church today.
CONFIRMATION
Chosen was initially conceived as a Confirmation program, designed to offer teens a comprehensive journey through their Catholic faith and to show them how the sacraments, prayer, and discipleship are the keys to a happy life. Bringing together twelve of the most talented and inspiring presenters in the Church today, Chosen speaks the language of today’s youth and is designed to reach through the cultural confusion of relativism and materialism. While many programs do a solid job of presenting facts and material, few can connect with hearts and minds in the way that Chosen does, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
FAITH FORMATION
It became evident during development that Chosen’s content goes beyond sacramental preparation. In response to the very high level of interest from early reviewers, educators, and group leaders—and to the enthusiasm from various experts involved in the project—Chosen has been produced in two formats: a Confirmation edition and a general Faith Formation edition. Both Chosen formats offer the same dynamic and powerful twenty-four lessons, differing only in the emphasis that key sessions of the Confirmation edition place on sacramental preparation.
ALTARATION: TEEN MASS
Altaration: The Mystery of the Mass Revealed builds on the success of Chosen and was produced in response to calls from groups asking for more teen resources using the same comprehensive and dynamic approach. This new and powerful five-lesson program features some of the very best Catholic speakers, stunning cinematography, and dynamic and engaging workbook materials.
