The search for happiness leads many men and women into - and out of - marriage.  But is this way God intended it to be? 

Divorce and re-marriage is now accepted as a common option today.  Despite higher rates of infidelity, depression and neglected children, couples continue to make and break vows once understood to bind ‘till death do us part’.

How did God understand marriage when He wed the first couple in Paradise?  How was it understood under the Mosaic law, and then raised to the level of a sacrament in the New Law with Jesus Christ?  Why does the Church seem to dismiss our rights to find a soulmate and escape empty relationships?  What is the sin attached to divorce and re-marriage, and what are the graces of holy matrimony?
