In Dialogue With the Lord - St. Josemaría Escrivá - Scepter (Paperback)

This collection of homilies is the third collection by St. Josemaría that Scepter has published. St. Josemaría Escrivá talked to groups of people from many varied backgrounds, to transmit to them the Spirit of God. In his preaching, there was a specific way which was very characteristic of him: family like conversation in which all manner of topics come up: spiritual matters, points of history, comments on recent events etc. Between 1967 and 1975, St. Josemaría made a revision of the notes taken of some of his preaching. The title, In Dialogue with the Lord, expresses the content and the purpose of that catechesis: to help readers to do personal prayer, to talk with Jesus face to face. St. Josemaría enlightened minds, enkindled hearts, filling them with strength and with deep joy in the endeavour to give glory to God and to work for the salvation of souls.
