The Catholic Church gives Mary the mother of Jesus many titles, so many in fact that she is often accused of exaggerating and distorting who she really is. How can the simple Mary of the Bible be the Mother of God, Mediatrix, Co-Redeemer, Queen of Heaven and Ark of the Covenant, just to name a few?

In this talk Robert Haddad examines the claim that Mary is the new Ark of the Covenant. Robert outlines what the original Ark was like and how it symbolised in type the Virgin Mary. At the same time Robert looks at other types of Mary that pre-figured her in the Old Testament. In addition, Robert outlines the history of the destruction of the Temple of Solomon, how the Glory of the presence of God departed from the Temple and how the original Ark of the covenant was lost. This is done to highlight how Jesus and Mary were ordained by God to be the Glory and Ark of the restored second Temple.

Finally, Robert relates how the original Tabernacle and Temple were earthly representations of the God's heavenly abode and how Jesus and Mary, through their ascension and assumption into heaven, became and remain the Glory and Ark of the heavenly Temple.
