St. Christopher is known to be a martyr. This means that he died for Jesus. It is believed that St. Christopher was a very tall man. One day, St. Christopher was helping people across a river by carrying them on his shoulder. One of the people that he carried was the child Jesus. St. Christopher is the patron saint of travellers. His feast day is July 25th.
