The Bible Timeline
Our small 'Family of Divine Innocence Group' Bible Study group in Mackay have found the Bible Timeline Study to be excellent. it is exciting to be able to read the Old Testament with our new found knowledge that this study has shown us. It has opened our eyes and minds to the many different twists and turns experienced by our past bible heroes like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Israel, Joseph to name a few that we never noticed before. We are no longer skimming over the New Testament but delving into the depths of it. Couldn't recommend this study more highly enough to any Catholic and it should be mandatory in all our Catholic School religion classes. The students would definitely find the Bible exciting not boring.

Bible Timeline Program
This is the 3rd time that we are running the 24 Week Bible Timeline. We have run the shorter version (A Quick Journey Through the Bile now replaced by Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible) about 9 times. I cannot say enough how wonderfully this has impacted the lives of the many who have attended these programs. I would say that the first fruit is the ability to make sense of the relationship between the OT readings and the Gospel at Sunday Mass. Secondly, I have come to a very deep appreciation for the Old Testament and how it truly is conceals the New. To be able to listen to the Prophets, the events during the time of the Judges and Kings and know where they fit in Salvation History is just simply awesome. I can't recommend this highly enough which is why I have offered to run the program several time to those who would like to know more about the Bible. I think every Catholic should go through this program if they really want to know the Lord more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly.
