Write a reviewI was given this book after the death of my two sons. I was very engrossed with the book, but the strength and faith of the mothers was amazing to me, and helped me go through this difficult time.
I have read many religious books over my life, and this book is the best I have ever read.

Insightful and engaging historical fiction about a most unlikely disciple intermittently crossing paths with the man who was God but looked like a man. Like all good literature, it bristles with delight and meaning, often unexpected. A simple style disguises a complexity and depth comparable to human nature itself. A very human story that somehow all of us relive as we battle to live ideals that are worth living for.
